Google Bot Peeing on an Apple Logo in Google Maps And "Google Review Policy Is Crap"
Google Maps never ceases to amaze us. Some times it allows us to do crazy things - like letting us play Pac-Man on any street - but this one is rather out of left field even by company's wacky standards.
When you visit this spot on Google Maps, you'll be greeted by the image of a giant Android bot peeing over Apple's logo. The spot is near a Pakistani city, Rawalpindi.
However, this is not Google's fault at all. The company has a tool called Map Marker that let anyone submit data for Google Maps.
"Even though edits are moderated, occasionally the odd inaccurate or cheeky edit may slip through our system," said a Google spokesperson in a statement to Mashable. "We've been made aware of the issue and are working on getting it removed."
However, recently another spot was discovered on Google Maps where someone has left Google a reminder that its "review policy is crap."
