After 11 days of unexplained paralysis to her lower body, a Texas teenager was able to walk and she decided to surprise one special nurse who had so dearly cared for her while she was in hospital.

Bailey Murrill was in hospital and was paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors were unsure of the cause, but during her stay at the hospital, she developed a close bond with a nurse who encouraged her to have faith throughout this harrowing experience.

Just 11 days later, she was able to miraculously walk again. Instead of just telling her favorite nurse, whose name was not shared on Facebook, she decided to surprise her.

Bailey's mom, Becky Murrill, posted the touching video on Facebook.

"Our daughter, Bailey, had complete paralysis from the waist down for 11 days with no explanation as to why. This video is one of her favorite nurses coming onto her shift and not knowing that Bailey had started walking this day."

The girl's mother also uploaded the video, titled 'Love our nurses!' to YouTube. It has received upwards of 3.5 million views.

Meanwhile, commenters on Reddit immediately took the opportunity to commend nurses, and all of the work and long hours they put in daily.

"Nurses are great people," one commenter wrote. "You'd have to be humanitarian to be a nurse."
