A two-minute long trailer for the upcoming superhero movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was leaked online Thursday, shortly after director Zack Synder teased the IMAX event for the movie on Wednesday.

The clip, which was recorded via some handheld device, starts off with a commentator asking, "Is it really surprising that the most powerful man in the world should be a figure of controversy." The voiceovers throughout the clip question the world and its stability after Superman's presence on Earth becomes known.

Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisneberg, can be heard saying, "Devils don't come from Hell beneath us; they come from the sky."

The clip also features very dark images of Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman. At the end of the clip, Batman faces Superman and says, "Tell me, do you bleed? You will."

The entire clip came with Portuguese subtitles. The darkness throughout the clip has already been criticized by many on Twitter.

Warner Bros. immediately removed the video off of YouTube. However, the clip had already circulated the Internet.

The trailer event, which is billed to last 15 minutes, premieres on Monday, April 20 in select IMAX theaters across the country.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
