‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' Update: Director Zack Synder Teases Event Trailer Release Date
The official event trailer for "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" finally has a release date.
The director of the highly anticipated superhero movie, Zack Synder, posted a short clip via Twitter. Along with the 21 second clip, which revealed more details about the costumes, Synder tweeted, "Confirmed 4.20.15 #BatmanvSuperman @IMAX special teaser screening events. Limited space. RSVP batmanvsupermandawnofjustice.com/imax/."
The Variety reported that the trailer event would be 15 minutes long and takes place at 7 p.m. in select IMAX theaters across the country. There will be an intro from Synder. There is also speculation that the event will include footage from the movie.
The "Man of Steel" sequel stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luther), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth).
Synder has been releasing images of cast members and their respective roles via Twitter over the past few months.
The movie is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
