Kim Kardashian was intentionally cropped out from a photo posted in the ultra-Orthodox Jewish website, Kikar HaShabbat as she is said to be a 'pornographic symbol'. ET! Online said.

"Kim Kardashian is a specific case, I think everyone understands, I don't want to say this word, but she is a symbol pornographic symbol," Nissim Ben Haim, editor at Kikar HaShabbat, told the press.

"Her entire fame is an expression of the western pornographic culture, and this is something we want to keep far away from our users, far away from this ugliness," he added.

Days ago, Kim Kardashian went to Jerusalem to baptized baby North West. In their stay, they were welcomed by Jerusalem's Mayor Nir Barkat in a restaurant.

Kikar HaShabbat posted the official photo of Kim, Kanye and the mayor of Jerusalem. However, many reacted when Kim's face was cropped and was replaced with a restaurant receipt.

Mayor Nir Barkat, on the other hand, did not feel pressured to hide Kim's face as he posted the photo on Twitter without alteration.

He captioned it saying, J"oined @KimKardashian and @kanyewest in #Jerusalem to toast and celebrate hosting them in our beautiful city."

E! Online said that the Jewish publication has other reasons why they crop Kim's photo. One of this is their traditional values towards women.

"Within the insular Ultra-Orthodox community, pictures of women often aren't shown out of modesty," an article posted in the site said.

The famous reality TV star is not the only one who is cropped from pictures posted in Je

According to Business Insider, even female political figures also experienced the same discrimination in some other Jewish publication.

"In January, an ultra-Orthodox newspaper removed German chancellor Angela Merkel from a photo."

Meanwhile, Kikar HaShabbat decried Mayor Nir Barkat move to dine with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and receiving them in a non-kosher restaurant in the season of Easter.

"Insensitive: Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and his wife last night hosted Kanye West and his wife, who are visiting Israel at a [non-kosher] restaurant in the capital without considering the majority of city residents who keep kosher," the article said.
