Bruce Jenner Sex Change Update: 'My Whole Life Has Been Getting Me Ready for This' [VIDEO]

Bruce Jenner's highly rumored sex change will be the topic of an upcoming exclusive interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer. The former husband of Kris Jenner, the Kardashian family matriarch, will reveal all in a news segment.

ABC has released a new clip in anticipation for the interview. "My whole life has been getting me ready for this," Bruce Jenner says in the clip.

The narrator adds: "Bruce Jenner: The interview, the journey, the decisions, the future."

Bruce Jenner is famously known for winning the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympic.

Sources told Us Magazine that Jenner's sons, Brody, Brandon and Burt, support his sex change transition to a woman, but Bruce has received little support from the Kardashians, namely Kim and her mom Kris Jenner.

"Besides Khloe, the Kardashians were not on board with his [male-to-female] transition," a source told Us April 15. "His boys, Brody and Brandon, stuck by him, but Bruce feels like Kris and her girls only support him publicly to make themselves look good."

Jenner, who appears on the E! reality series "Keeping up with the Kardashians," has also been rumored to be recording a reality show with the E! network to document his journey.

Bruce Jenner's interview airs on Friday, April 24 at 9/8c on ABC.
