Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Update: Twilight Actress Aloof or Angry Over Ex-lover's Quick Marriage Proposal to FKA Twigs?
Despite the fact that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's relationship ended a long time ago, many fans still thought about the "Twilight Saga" actress first when news broke out that Pattinson popped the question to his current girlfriend, FKA Twigs.
Once reports surfaced that Pattinson, 28, and FKA twigs, 27, got engaged, other stories claiming that Stewart, 24, was upset started to pop up throughout the Internet. One of these stories, published by Radar Online, stated that Stewart was angry that Pattinson would get engaged so soon after dating.
The website quoted a source saying, "She is really pissed off over Rob getting engaged to FKA Twigs after knowing her for only a couple of months. She is saying she really does not care at all about this, but everyone knows that is not the case."
The source continued, "Kristen was with Rob for several years and he never gave her the option of marriage. Every time she tried to bring it up he would always shoot her down and say he was not ready. The fact that he was all of a sudden ready just really annoys her."
Despite these stories, E! News is reporting that the Sils Maria actress has paid no mind to the engagement news. E! News cited a source stating that Stewart "doesn't care about the engagement."
The source added, "There isn't hostility but she has moved on and is in a really great place right now. This ahs been one of the better times for her personally, she is just doing her own thing."
PEOPLE is also reporting that Stewart is completely fine. The magazine quoted a source assaying, "Kristen is doing fine, working and traveling, and she will survive Robert's engagement. She has her own life and has moved on...Kristen lives a much more low-key life now and seems happier. It was obvious that she was struggling with the media attention [during her relationship with Rob]."
Stewart is rumored to be dating her BFF Alicia Cargile. Pattinson and FKA twigs have not confirmed their engagement.
