Apple and IBM have added eight more enterprise apps designed for iOS devices. The newly released apps are focused on healthcare and industrial products industries.

The partnership between IBM and Apple has the companies working together to produce enterprise-friendly apps. Up until now, both companies have released 22 apps aimed at banking and finance, travel and transportation, energy and utilities, law enforcement, retail, insurance, and more.

One of the eight apps released today is Hospital RN app for iPhone which aims to reduce the operational costs associated with managing patient information by connecting with a hospital's own systems, while also allowing its users to manage patient info, including discharges, right from the iPhone. The app works with Apple's iBeacon technology.

Another app, Ancillary Sale app for iPhone aims to improve things once passengers are on the plane. The app would allow flight attendants to sell seat upgrades and in-flight purchases including duty free items.
