New Launch: HTC One M8s With 64-Bit Octa-Core SoC, 13-Megapixel Duo Camera

Apart from launching a brand-new flagship HTC One M9, the company also launched a refreshed version of its last year flagship - HTC One M8s. The smartphone has been launched at GBP 379.99 and will be available in early April in Europe.

The new HTC One M8s retains the all-metal curved body. Out-of-the-box, the smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with the HTC Sense 6 skin.

HTC has replaced the old 4-UltraPixel duo camera setup with a new 13-megapixel duo while retaining the front 5-megapixel shooter.

HTC One M8s features 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB in-built storage on the new HTC One M8s can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Compared to 2600mAh on the One (M8), the M8s comes with a 2840mAh battery. In terms of connectivity options, the handset includes a G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC.

The phone is available in Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray and Amber Gold color options.
