Two new trailers have been released that give a peak into the potentially opposing storylines of "Halo 5: Guardians." Apart from trailers, release dates were also announced which is Oct. 27.

The teasers of the game premiered during AMC's finale for "The Walking Dead."

In one of the teasers, future solider Spartan Locke is seen walking toward a statue of "Halo" hero Master Chief. However, the voice-over hints that Master Chief is now viewed as traitor.

According to reports, Halo 5 will find its technologically enhanced super soldier Master Chief at a crossroads.

Halo 4 had ended with the franchise's hero mourning the loss of Cortana, a nearly sentient artificially intelligent computer program that would appear in holographic form. The focus of the series, probably, is being shifted to take on broader existential and emotional sci-fi narratives, Latimes noted.
