The Bachelor season finale this coming Monday is expected to have a spicier and, maybe, messier ending as host Chris Harrison for the "After the Final Rose" special announced that the reality TV series will be retaining not one but two bachelorette stars in the next season--Britt Nilsson & Kaitlyn Bristowe.

"Truth is we had a really hard time deciding...So, here's the thing. We actually decided not to decide. For the first time in 'Bachelorette' history we're going to have two Bachelorettes. That's right. It's going to be Britt and Kaitlyn. So, the 25 men on night one are going to have the ultimate say about who they think will make the best wife," Harrison said in his teaser according to reports from International Business Times.

Producers of The Bachelor with creator Mike Fleiss are said to be 'shaking things up' as it was found out that the last series with Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman received very low ratings, said to be the lowest ratings in The Bachelor history, E! Online reports.

"We are making some cool changes without changing too much," a source said.

Chris Harrison once talked about these changes that Mike Fleiss had made.

"Mike Fleiss sort of rallied everybody together, including myself," Harrison told me, "and reminded us that if we want to keep doing this, we've got to be better. We have to produce better, we have to host better, and we have to create better....I think the show had become really formulaic. This season [of The Bachelor], we still follow the general recipe that's been so good and made the good secret sauce for 13 years, but we have been able to loosen the reins on everything," the host said.

According to People, the two Bachelorette contenders are ready and excited for the coming season.

In the last episode, they joined on stage holding hands and smiling at each other.

"I'm super grateful. I think it's an amazing opportunity," Britt said.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn was laughing while thinking about the idea and said, "I think what went through my mind was, 'That's not ideal.' "

"It will be a lot of things. Fun might be one of them," she added.
