Jay Cutler will be the Chicago Bears' quarterback in 2015, according to team sources with knowledge of the information reported by ESPN.com.

One source, quoted by Chris Mortensen, added that there was "absolutely zero truth" in regards to the rumors that the Bears were planning on cutting Cutler either through trade or release.

Cutler's future with the Bears has been speculated for a while now after he failed to lead the team last season. Cutler went 370-for-561 for 3,812 yards, 28 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. His passer quarterback rating was an 88.6.

On top of his disappointing year, new Bears coach John Fox and general manager Ryan Pace have not vocalized their support or commitment to Cutler, leading many to believe that the Bears wanted a different quarterback to lead the team this upcoming season.

However, the reports suggest that the Bears are sticking with Cutler. Some reports are claiming that the Bears have tried to shop Cutler but had no takers. The team has until March 12 to officially decide on whether or not they will keep Cutler.

Offensive coordinator Adam Gase has reportedly been very enthusiastic about working with Cutler and has been working on a playbook that will factor in Cutler's strengths.

Under Cutler's massive contract, he is set to make $15.5 million in 2015. He has an extra $10 million guaranteed for injury the following year. After 2016, Cutler does not have any guaranteed money.

The Bears are expected to make a public endorsement sometime in the near future. The Bears just resigned backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen to a one-year deal.
