One of American nurses who survived Ebola ordeal after catching the illness from the country's first patient, has now sued her employer and the hospital where she fell sick.

According to various reports, 26-year old Nina Pham is suing Texas Health Resources, the parent company of Texas Presbyterian Hospital where Pham is employed. She treated Thomas Eric Duncan, the Ebola infected Liberian who was being cared for the intensive unit of the hospital, before he died from the deadly virus. Nurses working at the hospital had complained about inadequate gear and the risk to their lives but Pham's suit reveals more details on alleged violations by TPH.

ABC News compiled a list of allegations Pham made against Texas Health Resources. She claimed that the hospital used her as a PR pawn when she was fighting for her life by shooting a video of her and distributing without consent. She also claimed that her request for remaining anonymous was not honored.

The biggest of violations that the hospital allegedly committed was upgrading her status to 'good' when she was actually discussing end-of-life options. LA Times quoted Pham saying that she still faces health consequences from the infection. Pham was moved to NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda where she recovered.

The lawsuit also charged the hospital of providing Pham inadequate information about Duncan, terming the information 'Googled' which was inadequate for her to prepare for the Liberian's treatment.

Texas Health Resources issued a statement saying that it hoped for an amicable resolution of the dispute.
