Snapchat is continuously hitting the social media addicts by storm. And while they're at it, taking videos and sharing them for everyone to see, Snapchat's sneaking behind putting up vending machines not intended for drinks nor snacks, but sunglasses. What are these sunglasses for, anyway?

Aside from the app that probably everyone who has a smartphone had already tried downloading, Snapchat also launched a special kind of Spectacles amounting to $129 per piece. These are "smart glasses" that can record videos by the way people view them, Business Insider reports.

It sounds like a pretty good thing to own and capture videos as people actually see them, however, owning these Snapchat spectacles is quite hard. Snapchat has a both good and bad way to market these glasses. They sell them through a vending machine, which they call a Snapbot. It looks simple, but this Snapbot won't stick into one place. It constantly goes around the US and the crazier catch is, snap addicts won't know where it'll be next until an extremely short notice pops up.

For those who are really desperate, but don't have the time to spend waiting for or chasing this SnapBot, they can try buying it online. These Snapchat specs are sold on Ebay and Amazon, only thing is, they'll have to spend out about a thousand dollars to almost five thousand for an unsure pair. There are also about a couple of groups that offer their Snapchat spectacles for rent. People can pay for a short-term experience with it.

So it's really up to the fanatics on how they choose to get their pair. Or is it really worth getting one?
