The open-world Western-themed game ‘Red Redemption’ is reportedly getting a sequel due for release in 2017 according to speculations by fans and observers following Take 2 Interactive’s statement that Rockstar Games is ‘hard at work’ on a new project. The rumor probably stemmed from a purported leak about a map of the said upcoming sequel title that is swirling across gaming land.
Game publisher Take 2 recently announced that Rockstar Games’ GTA 5 has already shipped 65 million copies sold worldwide and counting making it the most successful video game ever created. The entire GTA franchise, on the other hand, sold over 230 million copies- an insane figure given how other game studios and publishers struggle with sales
