MacBook Air fans rejoice. One of the best laptops might be getting a refresh as early as next week according to the reports.

The current lineup of MacBook Air might be upgraded to Intel's Broadwell chips and new ULV Core i5 and i6 chips.

Reports cited a number of sources saying that revamped MacBook Air units are set to come in "late February" and "with no fanfare or keynote presentation."

Interestingly, Apple has also stopped restocking of "certain MacBook Air configurations." Resellers have also beee reportedly given the go-signal to deduct prices of existing 11- and 13-inch models.

MacBook Air With Retina Display Details

Apple's new MacBook Air with Retina display is also expected to launch anytime between February to April. According to rumors, The new MacBook Air with Retina display might have a faster Intel processor with new memory options and storage features. It would also utilize the lightning speed 14-nanometer Broadwell chipset - dubbed the Core M.

According to reports, the MacBook Air with Retina display might cost $1,099.
