There's so much excitement over Nintendo's upcoming console, Nintendo Switch and it seems like the hype grows even stronger now that the online community has had a good look at the Nintendo Switch Patents which were originally sent over to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Yesterday, a Neogaf Forum member by the name of Rosti posted the patents Nintendo sent out for Nintendo Switch, and gamers are going crazy over the console's anticipated design. One of the most interesting features of the Nintendo Switch design on the patents is a potential touchscreen on the console. Touchscreen technology would definitely enhance Nintendo Switch gameplay, allowing gamers to position screens, access different functions on the display and so much more.

Sensors for acceleration and angular velocity have also been spotted in the patents for the Nintendo Switch - a good sign that the console would be getting support for motion-sensitivity. This is an especially neat feature for snipers since the accuracy of their aim would need the support of analog options of control.

AVR platform has also been noticed on the Nintendo Switch patent. Used during portable mode in tablet form, Nintendo has placed in a head-mounted display on the Nintendo Switch, a surprising feature that implies that Nintendo's finally paying attention to VR technology. While it may seem as an interesting feature to note, many believe that VR would do good for Nintendo Switch since pixels up close would be gigantic and skew a gamers vision.

These features may be further outlined by the lucky fans selected to try out the console before the Nintendo Switch release date in March. According to a report by IGN, a few select My Nintendo members have been invited to try out the new Nintendo Switch by email. Though no one's really sure on Nintendo's selection system, it seems like gamers have been chosen according to the Nintendo Switch Tour Locations next year.
