The Legend of Zelda is reportedly getting its own game-inspired trading cards that is initially set for release in Australia as per preorder listing posted on EB Games. Meanwhile, the next installment is up for release next year after a disappointing delay purportedly on both Wii U and upcoming next gen Nintendo NX platforms.
The 2007 Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is now available on Wii U Virtual Console for $9.99. The game picks up where the 2003 Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker left off, going through Link’s journey and quest to find and save Tetra.

Ralph Baer, widely known as father of video games, died on Saturday at his home in Manchester. He was 92. Baer invented and patented the first home video game system, while working at a defense contractor in the late 1960s.
