Though most gamers aren't enjoying the new Overwatch Christmas Update, saying that the skins aren't what they expected and that the loot isn't that good, it seems like the new patch did some good on one Overwatch Hero.

According to a few Overwatch gamers on Reddit, though the Overwatch Christmas update may not seem like much, it looks like Blizzard did good with their updates for Symmetra. The Indian light-bending, photon-shield-bearing hero is one of the least liked characters in Overwatch and gamers used to find her boring. With the new December update however, it seems like Symmtra's been given significant improvements, giving her a new shield and efficient tweaks to her gun and her turret.

Thanks to the Overwatch December update, some gamers now consider Symmetra a genuinely fun hero to play in Overwatch, with some noting that the hero can now hold very well on her own and inflict more damage on others. With the success that she's been having, other gamers have begun to worry that Symmetra might be the next crazy meta of the game.

Meanwhile, as gamers enjoy the Overwatch Christmas Event, a few helpful gamers have been making checklists for all of the items in the new event so no one misses out on the different things that they can get. To be safe, gamers are advised to make sure they get everything they want from the checklist before Jan. 1 next year. After all, the Christmas Event ends on the very next day, Jan. 2, 2017.

In other Overwatch news, it looks like Australian Overwatch gamers have been transferred over to servers in America during the holiday season because of the constant crashes of the Aussie servers. Gamers in Australia have been complaining about the constant crashes and it looks like Blizzard has yet to address the issue. Hopefully the Australian servers will be up soon so everyone can enjoy the Overwatch Christmas Event much better.
