Google's Nexus line has been bombarded with a lot of reports lately - both positive and negative ones. Critics specifically placed their focus on Google Nexus 5X and 6P units.

It's funny that one of the reports that have been making waves on the web is all about how bad the Google Nexus 5X model is. Critics specifically pointed out that it was a very bad decision for Google to take out their Nexus line under Motorola. When Nexus was handed to Huawei and LG, users notice that they cannot compete with Motorola's Nexus 6.

Avid Nexus users also noticed how undeniably unattractive the Nexus 5X model is and it cannot even level with the Nexus 5. Even when the device did not go popular and did not make a name from avid Nexus users, Google was able to bounce back with the Nexus 6P device.

Now that it is clear how Nexus 5X is certainly not going to get the number of sales Google expected it to collect this year, some users hope that Google will see the opportunity when they impose a mark down in its price. Interested buyers expect manufacturers to cut the price a hundred dollars down.

Just recently, Android's Nougat 7.1.1 operating system update was finally released to several Nexus and Pixel units. The latest update is already available for free for select devices, such as Pixel XL, Nexus 6, and Nexus 9, and can be downloaded over the air (OTA). Indian google users who have Nexus 6P and 5X finally have it on their phones if they have decided to update it.

To get the Android Nougat 7.1.1 running on the following devices, the users need to follow several steps. Before starting the update, it is important to (1) backup your phone's data; right after that, users need to (2) see if the update is already available on their handsets. Note that the Nougat 7.1.1 will consume 619.5MB of your data. Also, before starting the download, users need to make sure that the battery is enough to last the whole update process.
