The Wall Street Analysts said that "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" sales are down 50% compared to the sales of the year's "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3." In 2015 "Call Of Duty: Black Ops III" was the best-selling game of the year which beat "Fallout 4" and "Star Wars Battlefront." But, this year their sales are 50% down which means the winning streak of "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3" won't continue.

According to Game Rant, "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is expected to sell less than "Black Ops 3" due to many reasons. One of the many is because of the sci-fi FPS since its reveal. When the game was announced as a sci-fi game in the far future, fans didn't take it very well. Many fans started playing the series when it was grounded in reality, so they didn't like the change. "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" also failed because they didn't make physical sales but focused on digital marketplaces. But this doesn't mean the end of the series, there are speculations that the next year's "Call Of Duty" will be set in Vietnam and could be a historical shot in the arm to drive the series back to the top of the sales charts.

According to Polygon, it wasn't the best idea to take the shooters into the far future far away from the traditional series. The fans didn't like the game, it's not about how well it's done, it's about taking a different turn in the game, the previous versions were grounded in reality and this year was far into the future. On YouTube, the game already has 3.3 million dislikes and only 560,000 likes. It is still unknown how much the online sales have contributed but the online sales are about a third of its business.

According to Cinema Blend, "Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3" moved 6.65 million units in its first week, but the "Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is 50% off the physical year-over-year sales. It's not a small number of people who are not disappointed, on their trailer, there are 3.3 million dislikes and only 560.000 likes and numbers don't lie especially when the difference is this huge.
