With the Nintendo Mini NES Classic's rising popularity, the expectations for the Nintendo Switch are higher than ever. The console is scheduled to release in March 2017.

Nintendo users and fans are looking forward to seeing how this much-awaited console works. The Nintendo Switch is another home console from the famous brand. This time, it's a portable console, home console, and a handheld device all in one.

Players will have the option to play the console at home on their TV or take it on-the-go. For those who are fond of multiplayer games, the controllers on the console are removable for multiplayer access.

Nintendo has only released one debut video advertising the product. The details in the video are all fans know about the Nintendo Switch. That is no longer the case as Jimmy Fallon tried and tested the console on his show "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon."

Being a big geek himself, Fallon's excitement resonates throughout the whole segment. The host got to play the famous game "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" on the console. This is the first time fans have seen the console working in real time.

In the segment, Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo America showed Fallon how the console works. Fils-Aime also played a little bit of the game with the giddy host live on television, much to the delight of the fans.

One other news, it has been reported that a few games for the console will be available during its release. The rumored games will include a new Mario game, Splatoon and Bethesda's Elder Scrolls' Skyrim.

The console's exact release date is still unconfirmed up to this point, but Nintendo assures fans to expect it hitting the stores next year. But fans can watch this segment from "The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon" until the Nintendo Switch is released.
