"Scream Queens" Season 2 cancellation news reveals that the current season may serve as the series finale. As seen in the latest episode of the FOX series, the identity of the third killer has finally been revealed, reports Entertainment Weekly.

According to the publication, "Scream Queens" Season 2 revealed that the third killer is none other than Wes. During the episode, Wes explained that he wanted to take revenge against the Chanels for ruining his daughter's life.

Unfortunately, "Scream Queens" Season 2 ended with Wes killing Chamberlain after their confrontation. This means that Zayday is the only person who knows the identity of the third killer.

With "Scream Queens" Season 2 ultimately revealing the identity of the third killer, many fans wondered if this meant that the FOX drama is coming to an end. It would not be exactly surprising since the show has been dropping in the ratings.

As TV Series Finale notes in its report, the latest episode of "Scream Queens" Season 2 scored a 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographics. The show also pulled in a total of 1.180 million viewers.

On average, "Scream Queens" Season 2 scored a 0.63 in the ratings. This is 42.55 percent lower than the ratings of the first season, which definitely spells doom for the show despite its powerhouse cast.
