"The Bachelor" will grace ABC with its 21st season on Jan. 2, 2017. The 30 girls who will vie for Nick Viall's attention were already revealed this week and host Chris Harrison has some thoughts on which of the top five girls will snag Viall's heart in the end and get his final rose.

"The Bachelor" fans won't know Viall's pick until March (that's when the Season 21 finale will air) but Harrison already mentioned the girls who came out on top in a recent interview with Yahoo! TV. According to Harrison, Viall wasn't really looking for a specific physical appearance among the 30 girls vying for his heart.

The 36-year-old software salesman, however, is "attracted to confidence." Viall wants girls who are "strong-willed, independent" and "who knows what she wants in life and love."

Many of the 30 girls who made it on "The Bachelor" Season 21 fit that bill; some of the women are lawyers, business owners, and one even served in the military. Viall's top five, according to Harrison, are Corinne Olympios, Elizabeth Sandos, Rachel Lindsay, Raven Gates, and Alexis Waters. Who among them will be Viall's final pick?

Olympios, 24, will be this season's villain because of her "business boardroom attitude" that doesn't sit well with her fellow "The Bachelor" contenders. Viall knew that the other girls don't like Olympios but the latter's "badass, take-charge" personality excites him.

The 31-year-old Lindsay belongs to the most well-liked contenders on "The Bachelor" Season 21. As expected in her profession, the Dallas, Texas lawyer exhibits intelligence and a strong will. These qualities of hers can either be too much for the sensitive Viall or teach him a few things about himself.

Gates, a 25-year-old "no-nonsense Southern belle" from Arkansas, will attract Viall because of her kind and sweet demeanor. She also spares Viall from the drama in the mansion. Will Gates melt Viall's heart? Stay tuned.

Sandos, 29, hooked up with Viall at a wedding but he displayed radio silence since then. Viall didn't know that she will compete on "The Bachelor" and her appearance at the mansion will truly shock him.

Last but not the least is 23-year-old Waters. She quite made a splash in the premiere of "The Bachelor" Season 21 when she dressed up as a dolphin to meet Viall. Can this quirkiness pique Viall's interest for the long-term?

With their strong personalities, Harrison promises tension between the girls on "The Bachelor" Season 21. Things get off to a polite start but the women eventually stopped being nice and demand for more time with Viall.
