The Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser Proves That This Will Be Marvel's Moneymaking Movie Of 2017

After months of waiting, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 released a new teaser trailer. The trailer holds 81 million viewers in its first 24 hours for a Marvel Studios movie. It is the second biggest teaser after Beauty and the Best.

The trailer owns the first official look at Pom Klementieff's Mantis who uncovers Star-Lord's deep dark secret was revealed and welcoming Baby Groot and Mantis. It was packed with humor, classic rock and a huge deal of action. Although Marvel first showed some footage over the summer at San Diego Comic-Con, many fans still excite of the new teaser.

It revealed Kurt Russell as Ego, The Living Planet. James Gunn also released a sneak peak back in October. The first look at Mantis amazed many viewers. Some are hooked with adorable Baby Groot. The songs that were used in the teaser hold the number 1 most streamed in iTunes. These were Fox On The Run by Sweet and Hooked On a Feeling by Blue Swede.

The film was written and directed by James Gunn and cast featuring Chris Pratt as Peter Quill or better known as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Glenn Close as Irani Rael, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, and Kurt Russell as Ego. The members of the Ravagers are Steve Agee, Milee Escamilla, Evan Jones, Joe Fria, Jimmy Urine, Stephen Blackehart, Terence Rosemore portrays Wretch, Half-Nut, Narblik, Oblo, Scrote and Gef the Ravager. In addition, Don "Donny Arcade" Johnson and Tommy Flanagan as one of the Ravagers.

This moneymaking movie was a massive hit of $773.3 million worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing superhero film of 2014, as well as the third highest-grossing movie in North America of 2014. The film acquired praise for its soundtrack, visual effects, direction, musical score, humor, action, and acting. The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
