‘Injustice 2’ Latest Updates: Ed Boon Teased That Game Will Add Firestorm and Poison Ivy; Sub-Zero And Spawn To Join The Sequel?

Ed Boon, the creator and producer of "Injustice 2" at NetherRealm Studios have teased recently that there might be an additional two characters that will be included in the game. He took to Twitter to answer some of the questions fans are asking about the game. In his response to a Twitter user who calls himself TrabucoTravado whether Firestorm will be added, Boon replied "Yes."

The Game Creator Answers Fans' Queries

So, it is definite that the hero who uses nuclear power will be in the "Injustice 2" roster. Boon also replied to another Twitter user named vipbound about the inclusion of Poison Ivy. He also answered that it is "definitely possible." It is also reported previously that Apokolips Darseid will also join the game.

Boon Uses Twitter To Conduct His Survey

The creator and producer of "Injustice 2" is known to be a very active user of social media accounts. He even took to Twitter to perform a survey that will help him identify which characters the fans would like to be included in the roster. Specifically, he wanted to see if they want "Watchmen" characters to join the list.

Most of the fans, about 74 percent said yes to his question, and only about 24 percent disapproved. In addition, Boon has been teasing the fans of "Injustice 2" with probable guest appearances of several characters. One of them is Spawn and another is Sub Zero. There may be others as well.

When Did The Hype Start?

The hype for this video game began when "Injustice: Gods Among Us" became a massive success across several platforms. Its success led NetherRealm Studios and Boon to think about making a sequel. This is probably the reason why Boon has continually teased the avid fans of the game to ensure that the characters that will be included are what the fans would like to see.
