Pope Francis told Director Martin Scorsese when Andrew Garfield be ordained as a priest. The meeting of the Pope concluded became an emotional and gave light-hearted moments for the Director as the pontiff praised his recent work "Silence".

Starred by Andrew Garfield, "Silence" is a life story about 17th century Jesuit Priests in Japan and is available on the big screen in December. The story, based on the 1955 novel of Shusaku Endo who converted to Catholicism and dedicated his life to the faith.

Before the final meeting at the Apostolic Palace with the Pope last Wednesday, a pre-meeting with the pontiff's staff providing protocol and conduct when meeting the Pope. Scorsese said, "Pope Francis did say, I hope the story of the film, knowing the book, bears much fruit."

The historical drama also starred by Adam Driver made their astonishing screening in Los Angeles, California last Sunday. Both Scorsese and the story's co-writer received a standing ovation with nearly 700 people at the Westwood's Village Theater.
