Danganronpa V3 Heading to North America: Monokuma brings despair once again!

The latest installment to the Danganronpa series will be heading to North America. The game will be released in 2017.

The popular mystery visual novel, Danganronpa will be having a brand new installment in the series. Published NIS America announced that Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be available for Playstation 4 in 2017 via the Playstation Experience. The publisher will release both physical and digital copies of Danganronpa V3 next year.The game will have both English and Japanese audio.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is the latest installment of the murder mystery adventure game from spike chunsoft. Danganronpa V3 will be a brand new adventure. Players will deal with a brand new setting of the game as well as a brand new set of mysteries. Danganronpa V3 will also feature a new cast of characters or Ultimates as they face the mysteries surrounding them.

The primary antagonist of the game, a monochromatic bear named Monokuma will return and will continue to spread despair and murder to the students. He will be starting a brand new game of Killing alongside with his "cubs" who call themselves "Children of Monokuma."

Danganronpa is a series of murder mystery visual novel created by spike chunsoft. The game revolves around a group of talented students known as "Ultimates". They must use their talents in order to survive a Killing Game hosted by a robotic bear named Monokuma. The first game, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was released for the PSP back in 2010. Because of its popularity, spike chunsoft created its sequel known as Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye, Despair Academy. The second game was first released on July 16, 2012, in Japan for the PSP also.

In February 2014, NIS America announced that they took it upon their hands to localized the two Danganronpa games. The first game was released on February 11, 2014, for the Vita while the second game was released on September 2, 2014. Both were ported for the PlayStation Vita before NIS America released a version on Steam.

Further details should be revealed soon but NIS America already posted pre-orders for the limited edition of Danganronpa V3 for Playstation Vita and Playstation 4. Meanwhile, NIS America also announced Danganronpa's spin-off, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is heading to North America for the Playstation 4.
