‘American Horror Story’ Season 7 Spoilers, News & Updates; Sea-Themed Horrors In A Haunted Cruise Ship?

The director of “American Horror Story”, Ryan Murphy cut 10 episodes from fans’ favorite show, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t give them enough horror and mystery for this year. The upcoming season 7 will probably take you on a sea adventure and it looks like the monsters are not all dead.

According to International Business Times, speculations are season 7 of “American Horror Story” might still be connected to season 6’s theme. Because of the short clip, the official Twitter page of “American Horror Story” shared, fans are speculating season 7 will take place in the ocean where a sea monster will appear named Cthulhu. These speculations result from video's words “sweet dreams” and “the monsters are all gone.” Other rumors are the fans will witness season 7 of “American Horror Story” on a haunted cruise ship. S.S. Ourang Medan could be setting for season 7.

He was a Dutch freighter whose signal two American ships picked up while traversing along the Straits of Malacca between 1947 and 1948. The transcript said all of the officers including the captain were dead. The American ship that picked up the signal, the crew of The Silver Star witnessed a horrific scene when the entire ship was decked with corpses sprawled on their backs with mouths open and eyes wide open. Up to this day, the mystery of S.S. Ourang Medan remains unsolved. According to TV Line, the director of “American Horror Story”, Ryan Murphy said that some of the characters are not what they seemed to be. In season 7 you can expect the biggest plot twist you have ever seen in this show.

According to the Vanity Fair, Ryan Murphy is taking you on a sea adventure. It could be just a random imagery or a red herring like season 6’s teasers, but, the visuals also hearken back to a season 6 finale when a model ship gets knocked over in the Roanoke house. This season you met Scathach played by Lady Gaga in the re-enactment, My Roanoke Nightmare – an Englishwoman of Druid who came to America and briefly got tangled up in a witch hunt. How did she end up stateside, all of the colonists who targeted her would obviously have traveled by boat as well. Ryan Murphy revealed that in season 7, you will be exploring season 4going back to some Freak Show characters, deeper histories, and mythologies.

“American Horror Story” season 7 will be aired in September 2017.
