The rumors about the show “NCIS” being canceled scares fans as they begin to ask whether they will get to see another episode of their favorite show. While Jenna Flemming (Mary Masterson) in season 14 episode 9 will deal with death threats, there are speculations Mark Harmon is leaving the show.

According to Enstarz, in season 14 episode 8, the team worked on a murder case which involved car accident when the team discovered, the person involved was a Navy chaplain who was killed in the crash. Jenna will be provided with additional security because of the online threats she has been receiving while the team will work on finding out the person behind these death threats. Meanwhile, the fans will get a chance to see Bishop’s (Emily Wickersham) boyfriend. There were speculations Bishop may be dating Reeves (Duane Henry) or Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). During the season 14 premiere, Bishop revealed she went to Scotland and saw Reeves there.
Mark Harmon who played Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs might leave the show due to health issues. The 65-year-old actor was advised to take a break from acting when his sickness was noticed by the crew.

According to Headlines & Global News, the police drama still has a low rating and might cause the network to pull the plug soon. The speculations about canceling the show started when Michael Weatherly who played Detective Anthony DiNozzo departed from the series. A source said the departure of Weatherly was the reason why the show was not viewed by as many viewers as before. The fans also didn’t like the death of Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), some of the fans threatened to boycott if another character is going to be killed off. Fans are disappointed and said instead of boosting the viewership, they ruined the show.

According to Inquistr, CBS already confirmed NCIS season 15 for next year, so the cancellation is still just a speculation. After Michael Weatherly’s departure last season, fans still can’t find the groove of the show. So far, there are no plans for Weatherly to return. The rating is getting low and this week’s episode is canceled in last minute. However, one week break doesn’t mean the show is in danger. “NCIS” season 14 episode 9 will continue on December 6, 2016, on CBS.
