Taylor Swift is definitely richer than any other musicians on your favorite soundtrack. Singing her way up to the list, the "Bad Blood" singer was just crowned the highest- paid musician in 2016.

According to Hollywood Life, Taylor Swift made it to the top of the highest- paid musician list after earning a scorching $170 million dollars in 2016, from June 1, 2015 to June 1, 2016. Her earnings were reportedly before taxes and management fees.

The entertainment news site also reported that One Direction took over the second place on the list before taking a break earlier this year. The band has earned a raging $110 million, which has contributed a lot to them being considered as the highest- grossing band of all time.

Setting fire through the third spot is Adele, who earned a raging $80.5 million. Meanwhile, our "Material Girl" Madonna is at the fourth spot with $76.5 million, which was reportedly helped by her Rebel Heart Tour, as well as her perfume and clothing lines. Rihanna was just two million short after Madonna, with $75 million securing herself to the top five.

Much to her fans' surprise, Beyonce took place a little lower than expected. Fans may be disappointed but Forbes's report has shown that the reason behind the "Halo" singer fell a little lower on the list is because the dates of her Formation World Tour fell after the June 1, 2015-June 1 2016 period. The "Halo" singer, according to the report, may end up near the top of the 2017 list.

According to Billboard, Taylor Swift's successful 1989 Tour has earned her the number one spot, and for selling millions of copies of the 1989 album within the time period. The "Blank Space" singer also had endorsements for Diet Coke, Apple and Keds, which helped her a lot in getting her crown as the highest-paid musician in 2016.
