'The Belko Experiment' Updates & News: 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Director James Gunn To Release Teaser Trailer

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn released the first look at his upcoming movie project "The Belko Experiment". The horror-thriller film is set to open in cinemas this 2017.

James Gunn recently posted on his Twitter account a teaser trailer of "The Belko Experiment" while the full trailer arrives this Nov. 30. The film was written and produced by the "Guardians of the Galaxy" director. The filmmaker is telling avid movie fans that he is not just great in making enormous and successful superhero film, which he has been known for in the course of recent years.

The story recounts around the American Belko company in South America particularly in Bogota, Columbia with 80 workers which are strangely locked out toward the start of their day at the office. Later they did know that all of them are ordered to kill each other or be killed themselves for them to survive. The movie was written by James Gunn about 10 years ago, which came to him as a dream until it finally became a reality. Likewise, the audience may notice a familiar vibe on the film which makes it more interesting and exciting.

After the film was featured in the 2016 Toronto Film Festival's Midnight Madness a few months ago, the horror film gained different acclaims from critics. James Gunn additionally prodded on his Twitter account, the film also marks the anticipated comeback of Orion Pictures after it was quietly revived by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios in 2014.

The film is directed by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) and produced by Peter Safran (The Conjuring and Annabelle). Additionally, "The Belko Experiment" casts include John Gallagher Jr., Adria Arjona, Tony Goldwyn, John C. McGinley, Josh Brener, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn and is set to open in theaters on March 17, 2017.
