"Game of Thrones" fans may now enjoy wine like Tyrion Lannister does. As the battle for the Iron Throne heats up, HBO has partnered up with a California-based wine company to create "Game of Thrones" themed wine.

HBO has just recently announced its partnership with Vintage Wine Estates in creating the "Seven Kingdoms Wines," which will soon come in three varieties: a "proprietary red blend," a Chardonnay, and a "reserve-style Cabernet Sauvignon," according to The Star.

The news site also reported that the "proprietary red blend" and the Chardonnay are at a suggested retail price of $19.99 while the Cabernet Sauvignon may be considered fit for a king since it will cost $39.99.

The "Seven Kingdom Wines" will be released in the United States by March next year. Vintage Wine Estates CEO Pat Roney said that the company would also love to sell the "Game of Thrones" themed wine in Toronto.

Samples of the "Seven KingdomWines" are not yet issued to the LCBO for testing and approval since the wines has not been bottled yet. The California-based wine company CEO also said that the wine won't all be bottled until late January or early February.

According to a report from CNET, director of licensing and retail for HBO Jeff Peters said that having an officially licensed wine for the "Game of Thrones" feels like a natural extension to GoT fans.

Previous success of the "Game of Thrones" and HBO in the beverage category is also evident since they also have a "Game of Thrones" beer deal with Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, New York, the news site added.

The New York-based brewery company is specializing in Belgian-style brews. "Hoppy wheat ale" or "Seven Kingdoms" is currently available at the LCBO for $10.90 for a 750 mL bottle.

Reports indicate however, that it is still uncertain as to how long the LCBO's testing and approval process will take.
