Director Adam McKay from 'The Big Short' and 'The Anchorman' is now ready to have another realistic production as he is to direct a biopic movie about former Vice President Dick Cheney at Paramount Pictures.

The film will take after Cheney's shift from his CEO position at Halliburton to his vice presidential position in the White House. Cheney served as the vice president under George W. Bush sometime 2001 and 2009 and was a firm supporter of the Iraq war. Shockingly, he shot his quail-chasing partner, Texas lawyer Harry Whittington, accidentally in 2006.

The project went along when Hollywood is reeling in the wake of the 2016 presidential race that saw Republicans' Donald Trump and Mike Pence pull off the steamed win over the Democratic ticket of Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine. McKay has never been timid about saying something regarding legislative issues and offered his interpretation of Washington amid his Oscars acknowledgment discourse prior this year.

Plan B producers Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner will produce with McKay and his Gary Sanchez partners, Will Ferrell and Kevin Messick. They are all rejoining the film after the big success of "The Big Short" which received five Oscar nominations including Best Picture and Best Director. The film also won the Best Adapted Screenplay for Adam McKay and Charles Randolph for adapting the book by Michael Lewis.

There's a lot more to investigate concerning Cheney's life before he got to be VP and also all that he contributed to after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He's been a disputable figure in legislative issues for quite a while, and he's not the most appreciated on Capitol Hill, and his story ought to be an interesting movie.

McKay has been working on the script and is expecting to find on-screen characters soon, as the production wants to begin creating the film by spring to debut in the late 2017.
