“One Punch Man” has become one of the most beloved and expected anime series of recent times. The strong presence of Saitama (Makoto Furukawa) and the humor implemented in every episode have turned it into a huge success. So the question of "One Punch Man" Season 2 is not “if”, but “when”.

Good news coming for the fans of “One Punch Man”, according to Forbes Magazine, the series’ creator Murata Yusuke has announced that the work on a “One Punch Man” Season 2 has already started. In a twitter post issued by him, he has announced that the show is in the making, but the process of animating may take anywhere between nine month and two years. It all depends on how smoothly the work process goes.

The application which will follow Saitama’s adventures is expected to be a game. Besides that everything else has remains a mystery, even to the Anime News Network. There are rumors that the game will feature a leveling system, but development in a character as strong as Saitama would be completely meaningless. This brings fans on the idea that they could be able to create their own character within the “One Punch Man” universe and have it meet notable characters and villains from the series. Even this is just speculation and new information on the application is yet to be revealed.

A reminder for the fans of the series has been issued by University Herald. They share that the ending of the first episode was a big fight between Saitama and Lord Boros (Toshiyuki Morikawa). After an attack named “serious, serious punch” the villain was decimated into dust. It is expected that the cyborg Genos (Kaito Ishikawa) will make a return in Season 2, but instead of an apprentice, he will be a challenger for the title of strongest hero.

There has been a lot of speculation around the development of “One Punch Man”, but all of it wil disperse as soon as the series gets its new release somewhere in 2017.
