Mezi started as an AI virtual assistant that started out as a personal assistant app that accepts personal shopping, retail, and travel requests. Since travel requests grew more than others, the travel app pivoted to becoming a virtual travel assistant. Could this be a travel agent killer? Or could it enhance travel agencies?

Mezi features a newly designed application allowing users to book flights, hotels, restaurants, and other travel-related concerns via its AI. The application has a messaging-style user interface where users can chat with the bot. Mezi has an internal deep learning language processing systems in place which allows the personal assistant Mezi to chat with users.

There are other travel apps like Google and Kayak that are attempting to enhance their own startups such as Skyscanner and Hitlist which are already helping users make traveling a breeze. But, most of these services require third-party websites to book flights, hotels, and others. With Mezi, users can request for flight and hotel deals as well as ask it to deal with the transactions. Users can set up payment methods and personal information, and each time user requests to book a flight, the itinerary will be shown and could be confirmed right away.

The artificial intelligence deep learning language processing systems in Mezi is what makes the travel app distinct. Since it has the ability to store user's information with each transaction with the chatbot, Mezi will be able to learn each user's travel preferences, requirements, and other patterns over time. The stored information will be applied to future conversations and future travels which cuts the time off with browsing for deals manually.

The Mezi is a startup that could change the way people travel. Indeed, Artificial Intelligence has gone a long way. The online travel app could present more options for travelers, travel agencies, and even hotels and airlines.
