On a Facebook live press conference held at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium of the Little Big Town when Karen Fairchild told the fans that Taylor Swift had personally penned the latest song "Better Man", which first heard a few weeks ago on radio stations last October 20. At first the Little Big Town white lied to fans and told them that a nice young girl wrote the Better Man that lived in Nashville, Tennessee.

"She sent us this song, and it was one that was special to her, and she thought of us because of the harmonies, and she's never pitched a song to anyone before. And the moment that we heard it we were like, 'man, that is a song that we're gonna cut.'" Karen Fairchild stated.

On an Instagram post "Feeling really honored that a band I've loved for so many years decided to record this song I wrote. Good luck at #cmaawards @littlebigtown!! Love you guys." Caption Taylor for confirmation with much appreciation.

It's not new for the singer to have a song written by her that made it to top hits as an unknown song writer. One example's Taylor song is "This is What You Came For" of the singer Rihanna and revealed being the co-writer after Taylor's broke up with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris. Same for the artist Miley Cyrus and Kellie Pickler where Taylor co-wrote songs under unknown pseudonyms and the list go on.

One part of lyrics on the song is "You would've been the one if you were a better man" , intriguing one, who's this better man she's talking about? Is it Calvin Harris or Tom Hiddleston? A lot of fans are having guess based on lyrics of the song, that's understandable of course because every song has story, and for Taylor, it almost sounds every hit is about breakup songs

At the end, Little Big Town's Karen told the fans on the live press conference "Everybody has a better man. It might have been a lover or a parent that disappointed you".
