Yesterday was the last day for "Pokémon Go" lovers to enjoy the Halloween Event perks and updates. The Halloween Update has gained very wide support and it might just be the best decision Niantic made after the game's release in July this year.

Mary Sue specifically noted that "Pokémon Go" gained back the Top Game ranking in App Stores during the Halloween Event craze. Before the Halloween update was announced, the game ranked ten (10) among all of the other games listed.

"Pokémon Go" has received a lot of negative comments lately. Some of the reports say the negative publicities came out because the popularity of the game was very overwhelming that it has caused definitive cultural impacts in different populations. But the Halloween Event just changed the game for the app. It seems like gamers loved the candy multipliers and the increase in spawn rates very, very much.

With the Halloween Event's success, makers of the "Pokémon Go" game just proved all the naysayers wrong. Forbes reports that because of the support hike they experienced, it is not impossible for Niantic to create the next rounds of Halloween-Like Updates and Events in the future. The game reportedly gained a whopping 133 percent worldwide support increase in revenue because of the Halloween Event.

Sensor Tower accounts that the game "earned approximately $23.3 million worldwide between October 25 and 29, up from approximately $10 million between October 18 and 22." This means that during the whole Halloween Event duration, the game was earning a daily net revenue of approximately $4.6 million. "Pokémon Go" also recorded its highest revenue since September on the second day of the Halloween Event.

"Pokémon Go" players predict that the Halloween Event is just a sneak peek of more exciting updates which Niantic plans to release in the coming months. There are also news that new Pokémon characters will join in and make the app more interesting in the future.
