'Lucifer’ Latest News & Update: Gets A Full Season Order By Fox

Fox gives a back-nine order to the drama series "Lucifer." Fans are definitely thrilled to hear this good news.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, this order will allow "Lucifer" have a full-season of 22 episodes. The TV series "Lucifer" is based on some characters created by Neil Gaiman and from Vertigo Comic series DC Entertainment.

Tom Ellis and Lauren German who have turned this characters into a more charming, full of humor and a great deal of humanity produced by Tom Kapinos, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Joe Henderson, Ildy Modrovich, Kristie Anne Reed and Len Wiseman and with its second season which is scheduled for Mondays and its already has an average of eight million viewers in total.

According to Deadline, "Lucifer" is produced by Warner Bros Television in conjunction with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Aggressive Mediocrity. This TV series has been consistent in its rating even over its Monday companion Gotham. "Lucifer" is all about the Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) the lord of Hell that’s bored and unhappy who then decided to abandon his throne to live and dwell among the humans in the City of Los Angeles. He then had an encounter that caused him to team up with an LAPD detective whose name is Chloe Decker (Lauren German) to track down and punish criminals alongside Kevin Alejandro who is popularly known in this series as Detective Dush. Tom Kapinos the executive producer wrote the pilot and also in the position of the executive consultant on this series.

According to Variety, a statement made by Fox entertainment’s President David Madden saying the series continually delivers with a blast of ambitious storytelling and dark humor. The series has shown a turn out for true wicked pleasure which makes it the perfect companion for Gotham we can’t be more pleased to order for nine additional episodes to this series.
