"Wentworth" Season 4 concluded with fans shocked over Bea Smith's murder. Along with the supposed death of the main character, reports are now circulating that the series might not return for a fifth season.

Bea Smith was seen getting stabbed by Joan Ferguson for multiple times before Season 4 ended, Breathe Cast recalls. Despite these events, avid followers of the show still hope that she will be revived in a shocking turn of events come "Wentworth" Season 5.

Some are still very optimistic about this possible twist. However, some defy the possible positive turnouts and say that it would be very impossible for Bea to survive the ordeal. There's still hope for fans, though. Daniel Cormack took to Instagram and teased about her character Bea Smith. This whole social media teaser might be a hint that the series may still come back for a "Wentworth" Season 5.

Australia Network News accounts that since no one still has official accounts or statements about "Wentworth" Season 5 story developments, some say that Cormack's future involvement in the shooting for the next season might just be for some flashback scenes which will help the other characters figure out and trace her back story.

For Chatt Sports Net, however, Bea Smith might be back for "Wentworth" Season 5 to fulfill her revenge against those who have caused her trouble, most especially against Joan Ferguson. Despite these speculations, makers of the "Wentworth" series are still mum about the story development or about the upcoming season, if there still is. The network also did not release any official statement yet about its cancellation nor about its return on air.

"Wentworth" puts emphasis on the life of Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack) and her struggles inside the prison after she was accused of killing her husband. She also struggled heavily when she had to be separated with her daughter and got detained at Wentworth.
