Despite "The Big Bang Theory's" undying popularity, there are still a lot of rumors spreading around that it might see its cancellation soon. The series has just entered its 10th instalment and critics seem to attack the show more this time.

According to FX News Call, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 garnered a total of 21.5 million viewers on its premiere episode. This record just shows how much support the show gets from people who never grew tired of following the series. It has become a question why the show is now facing rumors of cancellation but reports say it might be because of some star's demands.

The report pointed out that some of the main actors of "The Big Bang Theory" are demanding for an increase in their salary. Main stars of the show just received recognition that they are some of the world's highly-paid actors, with Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Kaley Cuoco (Penny) and Johnny Galeci (Leonard Hofstadter) receiving a whopping $1 Million per episode. Meanwhile, the other main actors, Kunal Nayyar (Rajesh Koothrappali) and Simon Heldberg (Howard Wolowitz) each receive $900,000 per episode.

Despite all these negative rumors, avid followers defend the main actors that they were never fueled by money from the very beginning of the show. Since the main actors' contracts end in "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, rumors are also rife that Season 11 might be the last. The actors also did not guarantee anything just yet, Morning News USA reports.

There is no official statement proving that the negative rumors are true. CBS Network even announced that the showrunners of "The Big Bang Theory" and the network have very great relationship that it will be impossible for them to see disagreements to decisions and developments of the show. This also includes the network's relationship with the main casts which were never stained from the start.
