“The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 1 not only fulfilled fans’ expectations, it rose high above them and swept the fans like a rising wave, engulfing them in a whirlpool of thrills, tension and surprises which did not stop to the very end.

TV Guide share the biggest reveal “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 1 and one of the big surprises, which the writers and producers had prepared for their fans. That Is the new villain in the series, who is a siren.

In the episode it is explained that a siren entices her victims through her songs, turning them into slaves of her will. That is how she tricks Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey) into believing that they are killing “Bad people”, when actually they are just delivering her take-out menus. In the end of the episode, the siren was revealed in her full naked glory, which spiced the episode a little more.

TV Line reveals a less somber side of “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 1. All fans of the series are squeaking in cuddly joy as Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Caroline Forbes (Candice King) have finally decided to live together. This comes from no one else, but Alaric (Matthew Davis) who himself proposed this to happen. After Virginia (Aisha Duran) broke into Caroline’s house and almost killed the twins’ new nanny Alaric proposed moving out of his apartment, so he can take care of the children.

Entertainment Online shares some insight on the mind of Damon. Even though under the control of the siren, he can still get a grasp on a few things in his life.

One of them is his love for Elena (Nina Dobrev). He has decided to turn off the switch on his humanity, so he can keep her safe. If nobody knows about your loved ones, no one can harm them.
Maybe it is this will of his, which will play a key role in freeing the characters from the control of this mythological monster.

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 2 will air on October 28 on CW.
