'Go Live' Facebook Promotes Facebook Live Video Through Powerful Marketing

With Facebook's popularity and the increasing interest of users of Facebook Live, Facebook isn't going to stay still. According to Marketing Land, Facebook is planning a campaign this weekend in US and UK using a two-phase effort.

The two-phase plan begins in the UK October 23, a Sunday, marking it as the phase one which will focus with increasing the awareness of the people of Facebook Live video platform. The second phase will then start in the US October 24, Monday, to show users how to use it.

The said campaign will last for two weeks and on November 7 the tutorial phase will begin. The campaign will go the distance as it will promote not just on online ads, billboards but also in bus ads and TV Ads. According to Android Headlines, Facebook gave them a glimpse of the US bus Stations ad design.

The new feature of Facebook may have been a good thing for the users and the company but the obstacle of monitoring the videos whether it is appropriate or violent will be hard. According to CNN Money Fidji Simo, the director of product of Facebook Live told them that it is a challenge because it is immediate and that "The line on violence is one that's hard to get right."

Facebook assures their workers will monitor Facebook Live for a quick reaction and solution for the safe space viewing of the users. Example quick solutions are warnings, such as to warn users below 18 years old in watching inappropriate videos.
