A live streaming platform allows users to post real time photos and videos. This feature gives an impression that the one who is uploading the video and the one viewing it sees everything at the same time which people can infer no editing has been done. This feature attracts people gaining popularity and attention to app companies.

Applications like Facebook, Periscope and Snapchat already adapted on this. For SNAPCHAT Live you will post Live stories by turning on your device's location, tapping the main camera page and then the Stories icon. Periscope, the one more similar to Facebook Live than Snapchat, allows you to explore the world by broadcasting through live.

Now the 'Go Live' by Facebook is taking everyone by storm. This new feature is slowly dominating its competitors. The Facebook Live then proves that live video have a place in the market. It is by no surprise if other app companies add this feature to their applications.

According to engadget, a Russian publication had seen the new Instagram feature that is under experimentation which can be assumed to be live video. Instagram has not yet commented about the said information up to this moment.

It would be reasonable for Instagram or any other applications to add their own 'live video' feature as everyone can see the success of Facebook Live. The capability of the feature widely interested the people and everyone is surely hoping to see it in Instagram.

For those who are hoping to catch a glimpse of it according to TNW a Russian news site T Journal who was able to spot the testing of live video posted some screen shot of the camera with under the assumption that is for a live broadcast. Take note that T Journal's reader according to engadget was using a Nexus 6P. There is still no clear confirmation to the said news about Instagram's new feature.
