When injury strikes, a player of a certain game will be forced to be out as soon as possible. Like what had happened to the center Memphis Grizzlies Marc Gasol who recently diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right foot.

Coach David Fizdale didn't allow Marc Gasol to continue the game last Saturday against the Houston Rockets because of an injury. He also said that Gasol is not allowed to play their preseason finale on Wednesday.

This ankle sprain injury is different from the injury he suffered last season that caused him to stop playing. Marc Gasol assures the fans that everything is fine and yet he is ready to play by next week, according to the NBA Lead.

Marc Gasol's situation is not alarming for the coach after knowing the result of the test. He just wants to let the player rest in order to have an early recovery for the next week's preparation. It was not a big deal for Gasol and the team, it was just a preseason game according to Commercial Appeal. His exit after 20 minutes of playing is enough to meet the time he supposed to play.

Last season, Marc Gasol missed the final 30 games because of the very serious injury he suffered. He knew that fans are not comfortable with his situation right now, but "It'll be fine," he said.
