It has been eighteen years since "Hunter X Hunter" was first seen in magazine stands. However, up to this day, it still holds a huge and unbeatable number of fans and followers especially now that rumors for "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361 are rife.

Here's a heartbreaking news, though: makers of the series has not yet announced the release date of "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361. The illustrator of the popular manga, Yoshihiro Togashi, is still reportedly battling some health issues. 50-year-old creator Togashi is currently suffering from severe back pains and is medically advised to take complete rest before pursuing work, Vine Report says.

However, there are speculations that a huge number of great writers and creative illustrators are being hunted down now to finally tell the developments for "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361. Meanwhile, another report coming from Movie News Guide mentioned a name who will possibly replace creator Togashi.

Latest rumors reveal that Naoko Takeuchi, the popular Japanese manga artist who created Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon and Codename: Sailor V, will replace his husband Togashi to produce "Hunter x Hunter" Chapter 361. She has sold a total of 35 million copies of these hit manga series and has won a Kodansha Manga award. Because of this rumor, there's a possibility that the new chapter will be released on the first quarter of 2017.

Fans should keep their hopes up as this is not the first time that the hit manga series went on a long hiatus. To recall, it went off air from year 2014 and went back on TV by April 2016. And the comeback during that time was also frustrating for fans since it went off air again after a few episodes. Since Takeuchi is reported to do the illustrations for "Hunter x Hunter" chapter 361, fans may enjoy a longer show of the series once it goes back on air.
