"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 concluded with the members of the family all over the place. Aside from physically distant from each other, the families are also distant emotionally.

According to TV Guide that Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Travis (Cliff Curtis) are looking for Nick (Frank Dillane) and killed residents while doing so in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2. They went to the Rosarita hotel after the crime they did.

Nick is going towards the border with his girlfriend Luciana (Danay Garcia) where they encountered an ambush that injured Luciana. Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) also had her own encounter of somebody armed at the border. Strand (Colman Domingo) is just at the hotel.

The characters in "Fear the Walking" Dead Season 2 are physically and emotionally distant from each other. Nick has been on a spiritual journey and finally found out about Alejandro (Paul Calderon), Luciana and the Colonia and a belief system.

In a report from the Hollywood Reporter, Travis realizes that his son Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) is no longer with them in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2. Brandon (Kelly Blatz) admits that in their desperation, they were able to kill Chris. This news led Travis to end Brandon and Derek's (Kenny Wormald) lives.

It seems that "Fear the Walking Dead" had a cliffhanging conclusion as Nick moves on in leading the team. Season 3 might have a reunion for the family once it is confirmed. There are certain elements to the story once it comes back where the family is reunited in a violent way.

Once the next season returns, it may be that each of the family members will not recognize each other. "Fear the Walking Dead" ended at the border. It looks like Season 3 may start from by introducing the military group who attacked the survivors at the border. "Fear the Walking Dead" already concluded Season 2. Season 3 airs in 2017.
