'Sex & The City' Air Date, News & Update: Spinoff A Possibility?
Sarah Jessica Parker has stirred up rumors of the possibility of "Sex and the City" return. No detailed information has been revealed, but die-hard fans are hyped up with the possibility of this return.
Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays one of the lead role of "Sex and the City" as Carrie Bradshaw, told the Press Association that the return of "Sex and the City" remains a "possibility." Parker also expressed that fellow cast-mates, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have not ruled out in replaying their famous roles and are considering opportunities for a return. According to BroadwayWorld, Parker told the Press Association that "I don't think any of us have said no." "I don't know whether it's a series or the movie," she added.
There is no confirmation whether it will be a third movie or a series but according to The Guardian, Parker said to the Press Associated that "I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved. I think that's always a possibility, definitely."
According to Cosmopolitan, Willie Garson, also one of the casts of the TV series and movies, previously told Digital Spy that he believes all four ladies including their director Michael Patrick King would never reject to consider signing up for another chapter for "Sex and the City." "I don't think any of us would say, 'Absolutely not, I want to leave that part of my life behind me.' I have no idea when or if that were to happen," said Garson.
"Sex and the City" is a TV Series airing from 1998 to 2004, followed by two full length films in 2008 and a sequel in 2012. Carrie Bradshaw, Samantha Jones, Charlotte York and Miranda Hobbes are four characters that remain popular even after 18 years. According to Garson, people watch it because it has always been relatable whether you're male or female, young or old. For now, fans will have to keep their radar on for updates on this.
