Google is make searching those complicated song lyrics one-click easier. The most used search engine in the world has added a feature that displays song lyrics at the top of its search results when you type the word 'lyrics.'

Earlier when you searched for a lyrics, Google would display results as links to lyrics websites such as AZLyrics.com and MetroLyrics.com. However now when you search for something like "molly's chambers lyrics," a large answer box containing the actual lyrics would pop up.

This is one of the many advancements that Google has done in its Knowledge Graph - a search engine feature that attempts to bring users answers straight from the source, hence saving one click.

Surprisingly, Microsoft's Bing is already ahead of Google by integrating lyrics in search results months ago.

Google has been continuously adding features in its Knowledge Graph by collecting data from sources like Wikipedia, the World CIA Factbook, Google Books, event listings and other sources of structured data from all over the Internet.

The feature is not available for all users, as of now and it seems like only few English songs lyrics can appear on the search page.

However, the feature is being seen as yet another shot at lyrics websites whose sole revenue stream is providing search-optimized song lyrics and selling ads against them.

"Overall we're happy to see Google take an interest in improving lyrics online," Tom Lehman, co-founder of Genius, formerly RapGenius, said. "And we'd love to collaborate with them to create the best lyric experience the Internet has ever seen."
