Tom Hanks is all set to appear in a third film adaptation of Dan Brown's Langdon novels, Inferno. The actor was also a part of the second adaptation, Angels and Demons, which got released back in 2009.

With Tom Hanks as the lead actor, one thing is for sure: The film will make a fortune at the box office. While the first film adaptation of Dan Brown's novel, Da Vinci Code became hit because of the storyline and the presence of another prominent actor, the second adaptation was made better just by Hanks' top acting skills and his knowledge of the character Robert Langdon.

While the fans are expecting Hanks to adjust comfortably into the shoes of Brown's Robert Langdon, the first trailer of the film signifies that there will danger and intrigue circumstances in the movie. Thus, there will be certain adventures Langdon will find himself running into, according to reports.

The first film adaptation of Brown's novel, The Vinci Code, focused on the Catholic mysteries and the mysteries of the Holy Grail related to the legend. The film went on to depict how these mysteries are hidden in some of the most celebrated art forms in the world. The film was one of the biggest blockbusters.

On the other hand, the second instalment focused on a relatively new concept, that is, god particle. The film attracted fewer fans, as compared to the first instalment.

The third instalment, Inferno, is expected to be in line with what fans expect from the franchise. From what the name suggests, the film is expected to focus on the mysteries within Dante's Inferno.

The official trailer of the movie suggests that Langdon will be placed on a much broader journey. In addition, he is expected to face a situation, which is a kind of a threat to the entire humanity.
